The Timo Boll SG99 features a strong 5 ply blade with anatomic shape handle. This blade combined with Butterfly Wakaba ITTF Approved rubber with 1.8mm sponge provides a bat that offers good speed and spin for powerful competitive play. For added protection the edge of the bat is protected by Butterfly Edging Tape.

The model includes the new ‘Smart Grip’ Technology from Butterfly – this features a notch in the middle of the handle to help improve grip and feel of the ball.

The bat also includes Butterfly’s EGS (Edge Guard System) – an extra veneer inside the edging tape which reduces the loss of impact and increases the power going into shots.
